Asheville

“The Paris of the Southeast”

area_pho01Asheville has been voted by numerous national publications and surveys as one of the top ten cities to live in the United States.  It’s a city teeming with culture, four universities and is a premier center of the visual and performing arts.  Probably best known as the home of the world famous Biltmore Estate, a testament to America’s gilded age and the largest single-family home in the nation, over two million people visit the city every year.

A city with four distinct seasons, Asheville hosts festivals that celebrate the renewal of spring, the refreshing mountain summer, the blazing colors of fall and the holiday spirit of winter.  The climate here is always mild, yet each season has its own character, making it the perfect home to enjoy all the changes of season in North America.

Located at a regional hub of the nation’s interstate highway system and served by a regional airport that offers nonstop flights and connections to major U.S. cities, Asheville is easy to get to by car or plane.

Smart Move: Black Mountain

Our storybook hometown location -  Black Mountain – is not too big, not too small – it’s just right. A 20-minute drive from Sun Dance Ridge, this charming historic town of 8,000 offers a wide variety of retail, financial and health services.

Bisected by I-40, Black Mountain has its own interstate exit and is a community teeming with its share of mountain arts and crafts stores, great restaurants and convenient shopping.

The residents of Black Mountain sum it up like this: “We’ve got everything you need and nothing that you don’t.”

And that’s about as smart as it gets.
